-WEDNESDAY WINDOWS-

Spring has spring flowers at Club Monaco's 5th Ave. flagship

Overruling an initial refusal of dessert, the blackberry soufflĂ© at Bar Americain ended up the 'best bite of the night.' Excellent entrĂ©es paired with second row seats to Miss Saigon (the day before opening night!) and an amazing performance by Eva Noblezada set the tone for a crucial coming-of-age celebration Tuesday night. Taking time to celebrate a friend's 40th, the themes presented in Miss Saigon revive rigors of choice, strife and sacrifice. What would you give for love? This week, the windows at Club Monaco's 5th Ave flagship parlay a delicate balance between festive floral and fresh wardrobe choices for Spring. Keep reading to see more Spring looks...

(L) Dennis white combo jacket + opal white geometric dress // (R) Stan white folded top + Cleo white jogger

Mother nature makes memorable moments, surprising us with spells of variable and minimally repeatable delights. In flux with the weather, many manage to find fashionable fixes to endure every forecast. This September, seasonal sentiment by way of snowstorms, sun showers and other familiar forces of nature form the foundation of Climate Change, designer Ann Yee's Spring/Summer 2015 collection. Have a look at her interpretation of next Spring's hot looks….

-WEDNESDAY WINDOWS

Chanel, Spring Street, Soho

With daylight savings time ambling around the corner, the dim days of winter are slowly melting into a sunny spring. Looking forward, the ladies of Chanel show a little skin in sassy, spy-girl chic attire. Darker and spicier than the sequins, sneakers and subdued spring colors that strut down the catwalk at Paris Fashion week, these sunglass wielding ladies steal the show in Chanel's Soho windows!

Bergdorf Goodman 5th Ave. windows

Near thoughtless simplicity fills Bergdorf's Fifth Avenue windows in the form of... feathers! Accustomed to the grandeur and intricacies commonly composed by Bergdorf's visual design team, I'm initially underwhelmed by the basic design--and then it clicks. Sometimes, simplistic lightness adds weight to harmony...and essentially removes all conditions from the achievement of absolute freedom.

Pre-Friday Fun at French Connection

The ladies of Valley Nails being creative and Elizabeth Monson standing on the right in pants that match the nail design of the night

Monday began a week-long countdown to tonight's Spring Nail Art event hosted by Elizabeth Monson and Keiko Lynn at French Connection's Soho Flagship. While fashionable femmes shopped spring styles and sipped on bubbly, a nail station staffed by Valley of Nolita gave manicures with the night's featured flower print. As I awaited my mani-makeover, I had time to browse the latest offerings at French Connection. Keep reading to see the completed mani and style standouts.

Louis Vuitton at Brown Thomas, Grafton St., Dublin

Spring flowers sprout new beginnings this April. At the LV boutique on Grafton St., Dublin, a sly spider has spun a floral surprise. Soft shadows stretch across the space and add depth to the display. So, now the important question--white or beige?

Bergdorf Goodman launches its new Dior shop space and celebrate with Dior themed windows on 5th Ave

Perspective is key in understanding any situation. A race that looks tied from one angle often has a very clear winner from a different one! Bergdorf's windows, featuring Dior, remind me of the multi-dimensional intrigue of a soap opera. Keep reading for a closer look at evasive illusion and a fascinating juxtaposition of ladies and linoleum.

An Anthropologie Fashion Show!

View from the balcony at Anthropologie's Upper East Side store

Swanky snacks, a bit of bubbly and a stylish show followed by light retail therapy added a much-needed lift to an arduous work week. Thursday night, the lower level of Anthropologie's Upper East side store was fancied up with a flurry of folding chairs and potted plants in anticipation of the evening's main event. Having skipped February's fashion week shows, I was genuinely excited to attend this one!

Fendi on Fifth Ave.

Sunshine and showers make trading in the fur, boots and wintry knits for springtime skimmers, skirts and shorter sleeves an easy swap! Fendi's Fifth Avenue mannequins sport higher hemlines and the matching, monochromatic stripes in the background subliminally spiral towards a sensational '2Jours shopper. What will you be wearing while the last whispers of winter fade away?

Valentino Temporary Store on Madison Ave. and 65th St.

Stylish spring colors sprout in store windows with the approach of daylight savings time. As winter's moody monochrome and hardened hues melt away, lace and light pastels give life to flirty florals. While the poignant patterns and bold brights of summer haven't yet emerged, the introduction of cooler colors encourage a timed thaw and an elusive emergence from the great indoors. Valentino's temporary store mannequins sport an uptown look and quickly remind us that seasons--like the store--are just temporary.
