THE COSTUMES OF DOWNTON ABBEY EXHIBITION @ THE WINTERTHUR

Seven weeks' gestation spawns a season's worth of dazzling Downton delights at the hands of costume designers Susannah Buxton and Carolyn McCall. Four cycles in the making, fans of the hit British drama, Downton Abbey are in the midst of a nail-biting hiatus before the next new episode (Season 5 release date TBD). In that time, 40 signature styles across all 4 seasons will be on display at the former Dupont Mansion, currently the Winterthur Museum in Willmington, Delaware. GATSBY GLAMOUR

Laden with more crystal than a Baccarat chandelier, the mannequins of Prada's Soho store shimmer and sparkle in extravagant style. Earlier this week, Prada kicked off its Catherine Martin and Miuccia Prada Dress Gatsby exhibit with cocktails and celebrities in anticipation of Wednesday evening's movie premiere at Lincoln Center. For 12 days, Prada's Soho store will exhibit the lavish gowns and accent pieces worn in the movie, a collaboration between Miuccia Prada and Catherine Martin, Oscar winning costume designer and wife of Baz Lubrmann--The Great Gatsby's writer, producer and director.

Pre-Friday Fun at French Connection

Monday began a week-long countdown to tonight's Spring Nail Art event hosted by Elizabeth Monson and Keiko Lynn at French Connection's Soho Flagship. While fashionable femmes shopped spring styles and sipped on bubbly, a nail station staffed by Valley of Nolita gave manicures with the night's featured flower print. As I awaited my mani-makeover, I had time to browse the latest offerings at French Connection. Keep reading to see the completed mani and style standouts.
