-WEDNESDAY WINDOWS-
Subway windows at Coach, Fifthe Ave.
Full disclosure, I've again arrived at the annual aging ritual. In isolation, I can't say much is different today than the same day one year ago. Absent significant standouts, two lessons learned have surreptitiously surfaced: the overarching importance of surveying the "big picture" ahead of impulsive indignation and accepting accountability for decisions. Looking at Coach's Fifth Ave. windows this Wednesday, note the adapted changes of this recreated Subway scene. While each milestone in life may be fleeting, enjoy each occaisonal pause and accept the onward movement. Keep reading to see the remaining shots of Coach's windows...

Moschino, Soho NYC
NYFW starts off a seasonal style scene, simply surpassing the last. Drifting away from a consolidated presentation model--whether Lincoln Center or Bryant Park-- designers have evolved to embrace creative venues. This week, the "Share a Bear" windows at Moschino (Soho) illustrate the showmanship that comes with seasonal change. Keep reading to see more...

Coach Fifth Ave.
Style is a commitment. A "look" defines the foundation of self-customization, complementing personality, professionalism and preference. Off-the-rack meets turbans, tiaras and trinkets to top off any outfit. Contrary to the claim that the tag touts the tale, an individual's inclination on mixing and matching becomes the driver of uniqueness. This week's windows at Coach emphasize the existence of the tag, though only insofar as it represents style guidance and--sometimes--stature, never replacing creative individuality. Dolce & Gabbana Fifth Ave.
A bright light in a desert laden with endless sand and an occasional cacti is the picture perfect representation of an existential moment. Post passing, I've considered conceptual concoctions of "then what?" Time's article Beyond Death: The Science of the Afterlife prompts me to ponder the premise of life after life. This week's windows at Dolce & Gabbana illustrate the balance between the 'light in the desert' and the figurative lush greenness and white robes that the afterlife promises. Kate Spade, Soho NYC
Catering to crisis, chaos spreads with careless calm. Lingering in front of Kate Spade, Soho, the effervescence of showers, flowers, spring and daydreams frolic. Today starts the Tribeca Film Festival with a succulent slate of fine flicks. While work eclipses my capacity to partake, episodes of Damages, American Odyssey and Bloodline have become my new nightcap. Keep reading for more sights from the streets this Wednesday...

Moschino, Soho, #ITSLIT
Familiarity is discretely deceptive, astutely arousing and candidly conscious. This week, Moschino's Soho windows carry a head turning, brow bending store-scape. Already littering the streets of European Fashion weeks, Moschino's Woman Fall/Winter 2016 #ITSLIT capsule collection pokes fun at the futility of fashion. Have a look at Moschino's capsule collection here. Keep reading to see two brands with windows featuring familiar themes...

-WEDNESDAY WINDOWS-
Bergdorf Goodman, Fifth Ave.
As the saying goes, "Ignorance is Bliss," hinting that happiness follows the footsteps of naivety. In drawing a divide between ignoring the obvious and being obliviously ignorant, there spawns a sense of morality... right? On the heels of Andrew Morgan's True Cost--another exposé on the faux pas of fast fashion--how many now uncomfortably support sweatshop-produced style, after being educated on the abhorable actions of the apparel industry? Yet, devoid of the spirit of ignorant bliss, how many will end up happier, because "knowing" put them on a path of positive change? Take a moment to ponder your position (on sustainable style) and take a peek at Bergdorf's Fifth Ave. windows while you're at it. Happy Wednesday!...

Louis Vuitton 57th St. and 5th Ave.
"New" is the flavor of success this season at Louis Vuitton. A year since taking the reigns as creative director, Nicolas Ghesquiere has redefined 'timeless elegance' and modernized Vuitton classics. Sales are up an estimated 15%. Critics praise the brand, citing "However Ghesquiere works, he seems to be doing it right" [qz] and "Nicolas Ghesquiere is one of the few designers who can claim to set fashion's agenda each season" [fashionista]. Within the first two weeks of April, Louis Vuitton has already introduced a new watch, a new mega-store in Miami and a debut of its Objets Nomades collection in Milan. This week's windows present the brand new outlook of an iconic brand...
