Netflix has narrowed my horizon of free time, while simultaneously allowing access to a cruel world through divergent lenses. Most recently, an unwavering cycle of catalysts and consequences has invaded my TV by way of Wentworth, Orange is the New Black and Rectify.  Prison--as fictionally exposed--becomes a caustic community with fair-weather friends and impulsive instinct.
