Lavish lace and lustworthy looks lap the catwalk at Lincoln Center's Salon Tuesday afternoon. Set alongside an energetic cadence, Project Runway veteran Michael Costello stuns the crowd, showcasing sultry silhouettes and red-carpet worthy attire. Inspired by Japanese minimalism, Paris sparkle and London layers, Costello's mostly monochrome color palette is matched with topknots and red lips to complete edgy ensembles. Bergdorf Goodman incorporates Eva Petric's Gr@y Matter-language of shadows in its windows

Whether under the brightness of the midday sun or the solace of a moonlight night, shadows amplify our movements. Silhouettes materialize as light emerges and darkness occupies the space behind an opaque object. In an eerie and somewhat haunting display at Bergdorf's, Eva Petric explores the abstract qualities of shadow as a language of emotion in her work Gr@y Matter.

Stylish spring colors sprout in store windows with the approach of daylight savings time. As winter's moody monochrome and hardened hues melt away, lace and light pastels give life to flirty florals. While the poignant patterns and bold brights of summer haven't yet emerged, the introduction of cooler colors encourage a timed thaw and an elusive emergence from the great indoors. Valentino's temporary store mannequins sport an uptown look and quickly remind us that seasons--like the store--are just temporary.
