-WEDNESDAY WINDOWS-

 Odd on Ludlow St.

A couple days of nice weather had me out and around town, peeking into the windows of shops I haven't seen in awhile. Along the way, I stumble on a couple old style TV's (working!) and a sleeveless mannequin at ODD, a new high-end boutique selling off-beat styles. The combination of the weary weather and the woman in the window create an eerie presence, much like a basement scene straight out of Criminal Minds.

Comptoir Des Cotonniers on Spring St. in Soho

Further West, Comptoir Des Cotonniers showcases a fun play on their slim-fit packable jacket--in eye-catching red, of course. Mademoiselle Plume is the result of a partnership between Japanese lifestyle brand Uniqulo and France's fashion house Comptoir des Cotonniers. CDC's Soho window brings attention to the limited edition collaboration fusing technology and elegance into one featherweight all-encompassing style.

Moncler on Prince St. in Soho

The end of the week brings promise of cold, so I end with a window by Moncler. With reflective spikes and fur trimmed apparel, this display incorporates elements found in the two previous windows--rope, darkness, and boxy down-style jackets. In the spirit of keeping cozy, grab a jacket on your way out, stay warm and check back next week for another installment of Wednesday Windows!
