The early start was well worth it for an exclusive morning of sips, scents and spectacular sights at Hudson Yards Friday morning. As part of Nikon's VIP preview, we had the privilege of photographing the enchanted Fleurs Des Villes exhibit before it opened to the public. The morning felt magical, touring each piece and hearing behind-the-scenes bits from Fleurs des Villes founder Karen Marshall. Sharing a few fun (and free) NYC holiday favorites before they fade. Emerging from pandemic life and entering threenage-parenthood, 2022 has certainly honored its promise of unexpected excitement. Despite weeks-long ailments (RSV, Hand + Foot + Mouth, COVID, Adenovirus, and more) and over 20 vacation days going to the wind, we are blessed to enter 2023 in good health and with some last minute memories. GRAND OPENING: HUDSON YARDS NYC

At a time when "malls" have become unintentionally archaic, New York's skyline has a new addition and its landscape has received an insta-worthy makeover. Hudson Yards defies retail trends, becoming a trendsetter itself with its integrated living, dining and shopping space. Planned to be the largest private real-estate development in US history, the nearly 9 (and future 18) million square feet space includes a mall with selectively upscale vendors, a public plaza which includes the Vessel, 5-6 residential towers and a school.
