Inside the Sabyasachi store in the West Village
Walk into the Archive building at 160 Christopher Street, and step into Sabayachi's opulent imaginarium. A maximalist marketplace, luxe handbags and lavish jewelry are flanked by porcelain, jade, found treasures and meticulously intermingled antiques. Live flowers and fresh fruit are intermingled with porcelain and purchasable products
With an opening as grand as the store itself, Sabbyasachi unveils his first store outside India this past October. Every inch of his new 5,800 square feet space represents Sabyasachi's journey from Calcutta to NYC. The new store also marks a few "firsts," including his new collection--"The New York Edit"--and a subtle transition into a new segment, beyond pure Indian bridalwear. A definite "must-see," swing by 160 Christopher to experience elegance at its finest.
