In 9 short years, the annual revenue of Von Furstenberg's brand grew to 5,000 times her initial investment. In 1979, the DVF brand reported retail sales of $150 Million! A steadfast spirit and and a simple wrap dress became the anchor for a massive lifestyle empire, a philanthropic stronghold and a lifetime achievement award from the CFDA (2005).
