Crowds gather in front of Lincoln Center hoping to snap photos of celebrities or become newfound celebrities after having their photos taken
It's Fashion Week 2013, and despite the bitter cold and haphazard puddles of snow, fashion fiends and well-styled sophisticae emerge to show off their style during the presentations at Lincoln Center. Living in NYC, I make the obligatory pilgrimage uptown to have a peek at the people attending the week's festivities. Keep reading for a couple interesting and inspiring looks.
Fashion Week has become almost a Halloween for high society. Women and men alike parade through the presentation venues in eye-catching ensembles and stop to have their photos snapped by bloggers and passers-by. Sunday afternoon, recurring themes include assorted cuts and colors of fur, rainbow hair, pops of neon and funky patterns. While these elements on their own may stand out in an average crowd, "different" may not be so unique after all at the standard spots of Fashion Week.
