Irrespective of taste and talent, time represents one of few common threads binding humanity. Turning 35 only a couple weeks back, I've become increasingly attuned to the movement of time, along with its traceability and tracking. Though technology has simplified the telling of time with digital taxonomy, there is still discernible charm in the design of precision timepieces. This week, I am introduced to Swiss timepiece manufacturer Louis Moinet, maker of the first chronograph-watch. Along with the rich history and substantial sticker price, the fine detail and exquisite craftsmanship of the visionary atelier is unexpectedly impressive.
