Bracelets up close
Inspired by an instagram post, I impulsively stop into Bergdorf Goodman during my weekend wanderings and encounter Sabyasachi— happenstance. As I stroll through the street-level Jewelry Salon, rotations of clientele cycle through the cove of luxe treasures. A museum-like display showcases the bespoke accessories made of uncut stones, set in the jadu technique (without adhesive). Each piece is a unique interpretation of Indian tradition, elevating—not modernizing, but editing—the cultural aesthetic. For Sabyasachi, his designs become a form of inclusive storytelling, empowering the wearer to embrace Indian heritage in their own way. The “Bengal Byzantine Broadway" collection is available at Bergdorf Goodman’s Jewelry Salon until September 22nd.
