Opening with two large photographs of Halston (with models and at Studio 54 with friends), the exhibit juxtaposes the professional and and private lives of the featured designers in an intimate showcase. Highlights include a photo of Geoffrey Beene on his lawn (1988) carrying 2 dachshunds, a young Donna Karan dressing models for Anne Klein (1982), Calvin Klein (1989) posing for a young lady with a camera on a NYC street and Diane von Furstenberg (1991) jumping on her bed. Harry Benson:Behind the Scenes is on show at 100 Crosby St. (Suite 305) until February 22nd.
