For me, New York Fashion Week is a bi-annual event to fête the achievement of established and emerging designers. Each season presents new opportunities to meet new designers and watch veterans shift gears from sun to snow. Sunday evening, I venture due West, despite the bitter cold, to attend Metal Noir's 2015 Fall/Winter presentation at Pier 59 Studios. Having been amply impressed by the brand's stand-out Spring/Summer 2015 campaign (see it here), my curiosity piques.  Shelby Arangasich, Fashion Director, Fame Group PR opens the presentation

A very wearable Fall/Winter 2015 collection parades onto white seamless at the hands of Metal Noir's founder Runal Shah and Creative Director, Masai Payan. Covering the spectrum from workwear to eveningwear, collared shirts and evening gowns both establish prominence. Collection highlights are a red mermaid gown with a sweetheart neckline and a black knee length dress with a slight slit and cutout neckline. Black roses add a touch of defiance to select ensembles. Look forward to watching this brand mature!
