Did you know that female hair grows more slowly than male hair? Or that hair grows faster in warm weather? The average scalp has about 100,000 hairs and redheads have the fewest hairs with an average of 80,000. Blondes supposedly have more fun... and more hair with an average head of 120,000 hairs [source]! This week's windows from Bergdorf feature pale ladies with long locks set against a black background with stitched sayings. What's your favorite adage?
"No Tea, No Shade" at Bergdorf's 58th St. and 5th Ave.
I had never heard the saying "No Tea, No Shade." After seeing it in Bergdorf's display, I resort to Google. According to Urban Dictionary [source], this is "A phrase you add at the beginning or the end of a sentence that can be seen as negative to somebody, but it's not supposed to be, and just stating the obvious." The example given is: "Girl! No Tea No Shade, but you need to fix your hair!" Learn something new every day....
