Uncanny! Andy Warhol x Uniqlo

Uniqlo at 34th St

Getting graphic has always been a strong suit of Andy Warhol, one of the premiere pop artists of the 20th century. Known for his iconic silkscreen prints of Marilyn Monroe, Mao Zedong and his paintings of Campbell's soup cans (32 different flavors!), Warhol "challenged the world to see art differently" according to the Foundation bearing his name. After his death, the Andy Warhol Foundation was established to extend Warhol's legacy of advancing visual arts. At the end of 2012, Target was selling limited edition cans of Campbell's Tomato Soup. This Spring, Uniqlo partnered with the Andy Warhol Foundation to create a collection of tees and tunics for its UT line. Now everyone can wear a Warhol work of art!
