Alexandra Satine at the Soho House Sept. 26
After a couple minutes of
confusion at the front desk of the Soho House, I entered a fifth floor suite
and had the chance to meet handbag designer Alexandra Satine at her first Trunk
Show/Sample Sale. A charming woman, she is gracious enough to introduce herself
and personally walk me through her collection. Having worked in the handbag
industry for a number of years, two things particularly stand out about
Satine's handiwork--the quality of the craftsmanship and the apt use of the
convertible element.
