The early start was well worth it for an exclusive morning of sips, scents and spectacular sights at Hudson Yards Friday morning. As part of Nikon's VIP preview, we had the privilege of photographing the enchanted Fleurs Des Villes exhibit before it opened to the public. The morning felt magical, touring each piece and hearing behind-the-scenes bits from Fleurs des Villes founder Karen Marshall. Stunning floral sculptures line the walkways of the first floor, complementing the luxe vibe of their surrounding stores. Each piece, made entirely from live flowers like roses and orchids, reflects a unique theme and the creative spirit of New York’s floral artists. My favorite is the "fashion" mannequin in front of Cartier who was inspired by Elsa Schiaparelli, with the "ballet" mannequin coming in a close second. In fact, all the pieces are equally exquisite in their own unique way. Open from October 4th to the 13th, this fleeting display is a captivating blend of art and nature, offering visitors a brief but unforgettable experience of beauty amidst the urban landscape.
