History and heritage complement Italian craftsmanship in a thoughtfully curated selection of luxury handmade furniture and accessories. Artemest's first NYC popup brings to the West a staged sampling of bespoke furniture and accessories from artisan designers across Italy. Traditionally sold online, Artemest provides an unprecedented view into the broad range of its eclectic (and largely customizable) pieces. The temporary exhibit will be open until January 30th at 39 Wooster Street. Keep reading for a look inside...

Founded in 2015 by jewelry designer Ippolita Rostagno and entrepreneur Marco Credendino, Artemest brings Italian artisan craft to the global marketplace. "The Artemest Soho popup is part of our strategy of combining physical and digital retail. Being a digitally-native brand, we are exploring offline retail with a customer-centric approach, mixing best-in-class technologies, such as AR, with live on-site crafts demonstration," says Credendino, the company's CEO. Of particular note is Artemest's latest collaboration with Richard Ginori, The Road to Heaven is paved with Excess. All products are shop-able via QR codes located in the corners of each display or via internet-enabled touch display towards the middle of the exhibition.
