Taking the "Capsule Show" concept to the streets of Lower Manhattan, micro-communities of cautiously curated stalls peddling bespoke fashion and chic home furnishings are sprouting up. An orchestrated meld of street-side vending in the coordinated look and feel of upscale boutiques is cultivating a niche of rotating purveyors and increasingly talented couture artisans. During the week, visitors can lounge in the 600 square foot 'safe space' at the back of 265 Canal Street. Free Wi-fi, fresh (and plastic) plants and books create a cozy 'zen zone.' Weekends (3PM to 8PM Fridays and 11AM to 8PM Sundays) bring the ability to shop the bazaar. Stop by, revel in relaxation and find freedom of mind--if even for a moment.
